I'm a 21 year old college student who has no idea what I want to do with my life! Stay at home mom would be a dream but I would love to own my own little boutique business. Graphic Design completely holds my heart.
I started attending college in the Fall of 2009 right after graduating high school. I'm one of those students who change their Major about 57 times before actually sticking to something. My very first major was Diagnostic Medical Sonography, otherwise known as an Ultrasound Technician (baby ultrasound technician in particular). After finishing a semester taking a few pre-requisits, I realized trying to get into the Sonography program was way too hard & I just wasn't smart enough. They only accepted 12 students into the program per year. I was terrified of it honestly.
From there I thought about a lot of different majors, from teaching, to english, to interior design, you name it, I considered it. In the Fall of 2010 I bought a DSLR & took a few Photography classes & loved it. But even then, I changed my mind thinking I wouldn't be successful. After messing around & getting my feet wet with Photography, I found a love for Photoshop where I then started making digital cards and prints for all occasions. I opened my Etsy, Ashlee Alaine Designs.
I have finally decided Graphic Design is my thing and am currently pursuing a degree in just that!
I have a wonderful, silly, boyfriend who is quite the character but I love him. Our story is kind of crazy. I had known him for about 2 years before we started dating. He was actually my supervisor! We worked at a 5 star hotel at the pool. I was a lifeguard & had been through two different relationships while working there. One of them was pretty serious (promise ring and all). It's funny thinking back, Jimmy had to watch me go through all of that.Anyway, long story short, he had a couple pairs of pants he needed taken in & I knew how to sew. I fixed them up for him & in return he took me on a dinner date. Before this date, we actually went to In-N-Out after work one night & stayed & talked for FOUR hours! That's when I knew I was really falling for him.
We've been together since June of 2010 & I've loved every minute of it!
I work at a Pet & Family Photography studio as an Ordering Session Specialist & I absolutely love it. It's honestly the best job I have ever had & I plan on being there for a long time. I have an amazing boss & a wonderful work partner who I consider one of my bestfriends.
I have a Rottweiler who I absolutely ADORE. Her name is Roxy & she's the craziest, funniest, most sweet little girl ever.
Other random little facts about me:
-I'm addicted to Instagram. Everyone should be! It's the greatest little App out there!
-I'm completely IN LOVE with Chai Tea. One Splenda & some half & half & I'm in heaven.
-My iPhone & MacBook are my bestfriends... Oh the joys of technology!
-I eat way too much junkfood & watch way too much E!
