If you haven't seen The Hunger Games yet, you're definitely missing out. When I first heard about the movie I didn't know much at all about it. All I knew is that two kids were selected to go to 'war' and by war I thought of something completely different. My mom had read the book and wanted to go see it so I agreed to go. I was never dying to see it like most people but I knew I'd eventually see it. Man, was it an amazing movie or WHAT!? I was literally on the edge of my seat. You NEED to go see this movie if you haven't already. I'm going to start the second book this week hopefully, when I find the time. I didn't read the first book but my mom said that it follows the movie to a T. The second book is called Catching Fire and once you see the movie, you'll know why they named it that.
On another note, my giveaway that the lovely Aunie is hosting for me, starts tomorrow! If you don't follow Aunie already, you're missing out! She is an inspiration and such a sweetheart! While the movie does follow the first book, i would recommend reading it anyways. The book is SO much better and you really connect to the characters to understand the weight of things that happen in the next two books
